University of the Sacred Heart Gulu well set for 2nd Graduation Ceremony.

The class of 2022 at University of Sacred Heart Gulu who have been waiting to mark their achievements with family and friends – will all graduate during the 2nd Graduation Ceremony this month on the 25th March 2023 in Gulu.

The University’s Chancellor, Archbishop John Baptist Odama, will preside over the event , which will also see awards handed to honorary graduates from the Bachelor of counseling psychology, Bachelor of information systems, Postgraduate diploma in business intelligence and data analytics, Postgraduate diploma in strategic management and leadership.

A total number of 42 people will be graduating this year at the Graduation ground at University of the Sacred Heart University.

A number of parents, gurdians, Friends and family are expected to witness the graduation at the University ground while over 1,000 people are expected to watch the function Live on Ugandan Catholics Online Platforms; that is YouTube and Website including live updates on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp groups as the function goes on.

A student at the University Wokorach Fred Lukwiya, doing Postgraduate Diploma in Business Intelligence and data Analytics had this to say with our online correspondent when asked how the journey has been since he joined the University; “It has been quite an adventurous and exciting academic journey, Excellent and knowledgeable Lecturers who are always willing to support you in developing clear understanding of the courses and accomplish your tasks”, he Said.

He further told our correspondent how it feels ahead of his graduation day, “it is undescribable feeling, i am really excited and can’t wait for that day.”

The Assistant Academic Registrar, Mr. Onencan Bruno Boniface highlighted the importance of this 2nd Graduation Ceremony of University of the Sacred Heart Gulu. He said, ” The 2nd Graduation is important for the University because it testifies to the Community that the University truly exists in their community and it helps to advertise the University National wide and Internationally.”

Mr. Bruno affirmed to the public that the Graduation is well set. He informed our source that all committees i.e protocol, finance, transport, reception, Academic regalia among others are all set for the day.

He Concluded by calling upon all the invited guests to keep time and informed the public that ceremony will start at 9:30am with Holy Mass presided over by the Most Rev. Dr. John Baptist Odama, the Archbishop of Gulu Archdiocese.
