Kampala Archdiocese Appoints New Vicar General

Kampala, 22nd February 2025

The Office of the Chancellor announced today that Fr. Vincent Rogers Kabuye Mukasa has been appointed as a Vicar General of the Kampala Archdiocese by His Grace Paul Ssemogerere, Archbishop of Kampala. Fr. Mukasa will serve alongside Msgr. Gerard Kalumba, assisting the Archbishop in the governance and administration of the Archdiocese.

The appointment follows the tenure of Msgr. Charles Kasibante, who was commended for his dedicated service as Vicar General. “We are grateful to Msgr. Kasibante for his good work. God bless him!” said Fr. Pius Male Ssentumbwe, Chancellor, in a statement.

The Archdiocese looks forward to the contributions of Fr. Mukasa in his new role.
