Daily Catholic Prayer, November 2022

God our loving Father, we praise you for the splendour of our being! As we draw towards the end of the year, may the light of your grace help us to acknowledge the end extension of our lives and so prompt us to prepare for it. May we, your pilgrims, journey towards the heavenly Church while serving our fellow pilgrims and praying for the suffering Church.

We pray especially for children who are suffering; homeless, orphans, and victims of war; may they be guaranteed access to education and the opportunity to experience family affection. We continue to pray for an end of the Ebola pandemic, and we commit to you the souls of the innocent school children who lost their lives in a school furnace recently in Uganda; may you receive their humble souls and console their family.

We make our prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen.
