JESUS – THE LIGHT OF HOPE

“Light shines in darkness, and darkness could not overpower it.”

Jesus’ light shines on us continuously. There is no day and night cycle to his light – it is always there. Christ is there, even in our darkness, to nourish us and sustain us, to walk with us. He is always there to guide us. That is why every believer should have hope for the present and the future no matter how dark the circumstances may be or become. I give you hope – the best part of your life is not behind you!

Lord Jesus, shine your light as we begin a new year, and for all eternity. May we never despair for you are a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path. Amen.
