JESUS THEJOY BRINGER

Today we hear the story of the visitation of Mary to Elizabeth. It was a meeting of the moms, yes. But don’t forget those boys! They meet, too, Jesus and John do. And wherever Mary’s baby boy goes, he brings abundant blessings with him. Even in the womb, he brought blessings and joy to the home of Elizabeth and Zechariah. When we make Jesus Christ the focus of the season, He will bring joy into our homes and lives too.

Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that You fill me with Joy, that overwhelming joy. May it bring me your peace, trust, and hope because I know You are my Lord and Saviour. Amen.
