In a brief, the chairperson Salongo Mujjuzi Godfrey promises to quench all the thirsty souls,he says,”The reason the concert is called Marian/Martyrs is because it’s the month of Mother Mary and that we are approaching the Martyrs’ day celebrations”.He thus promises that the concert will be spiced up with hymns of Mother Mary, and of the Holy Martyrs, in remembrance of the Uganda Martyrs.

Salongo says, the main purpose for these Carols is to foster a fundraising campaign of upcomings projects like securing tents and a public address system meant to raise it’s choristers’ standards of living.
