In Pictures: Diocesan Annual Pilgrimage to the Birth Place of St Ponsiano Ngondwe.

Faithful in Lugazi Diocese made their Diocesan Annual Pilgrimage to Bulimu.

Yesterday 12th November 2023 as all the faithful from the Archdiocese of Mbarara gathered at Namugongo for their Annual MEPA Pilgrimage and Celebration, the faithful in Lugazi Diocese also walked for faith to St. Ponsiano Ngondwe Bulimu Catholic Martyrs Shrine in Lugazi for their annual diocesan Pilgrimage.

A massive number of Catholics led by Rt. Rev. Christopher Kakooza the Ordinary Bishop Of Lugazi Diocese together with the Bishop Emeritus Mathias Ssekamanya got involved in this cause of faith.

Bulimu in Lugazi, is known as the Birthplace of one of the 22 Uganda Martyrs St. Ponsiano Ngondwe, who is also the Diocesan Patron Saint of the Diocese of Lugazi.
