Min.Bahati Praises Bishop Rubaramira For Being Pro Development!

The Minister of state for trade, industry and cooperatives(Industry) has praised the Bishop of Kabale Diocese Rt.Rev.Callistus Rubaramira for this spirit of development, leadership and the contribution he is making to the economic empowerment of Kigezi region and the business community.

Minister Bahati said this on Sunday at the official commissioning and operationalization of a multibillion centenary new branch building in central division Kabale municipality.

In his message read for him by the Kabale district Chairperson Nelson Nshangabasheija, Bahati who is also the Ndorwa West legislator commended the bishop of Kabale diocese for his developmental ideas and for coming up with the Bishop’s annual appeal fund idea in 2019 intending to construct a new building for centenary bank that is giving shape to Kabale municipality. He also commended centenary bank for ensuring equitable financial service provision and job creation for many Ugandans and thus imploring residents to inculcate in themselves a spirit of saving with financial institutions.

Meanwhile the Bishop of Kabale diocese Callistus Rubaramira who officially commissioned the new bank building said that the building was named after the second catechist in Kabale diocese Yohana Kitagana who died in 1911 in recognition of his contribution in the development of the diocese and the establishment of the first church in Kabale district.

Bishop Rubaramira also implored Christians during his preaching to be courageous and committed to God. He said that Christians should ensure that Christians should always aim at giving enough time to God if they are to achieve their desires.

Also the centenary bank manager for Kabale Branch Sunday Baritazar said that they decided to have another building due to several complaints of long queues from customers at the former premises of centenary bank also in Kabale municipality. He pledged total commitment and trust towards serving the customers in regards to financial matters.
