Christians of Kasana Luweero Diocese have contributed UGX 330m to support Bishop Lawrence Mukasa

Christians of Kasana Luweero Diocese have contributed 330 m to support Bishop Lawrence Mukasa through the Bishop Annual Appeal fund fundraiser.

The Bishop thanked the Christians for responding towards this fund. He said ” last year 2024 we were able to raise 248 and this fund was directed to the construction of the priests house in the newly created Parish of Nakitoma”.

The treasurer General Fr. Achilles Kiwanuka encouraged Christians from different Parishes to respond to this annual fundraiser with love.

Mrs. Namujju Suzan kintu the treasurer for the laity in the Diocese encouraged Christians to adapt to the digital platforms to reduce cash payments through the BAAFU MTN MOMO pay code 473324. She emphasized that the BAAFU drive for the year 2026 will be open effective January.

The Bishop informed Christians that the BAAFU 2025 collection is going to be directed to settle debt for the Kaludo complex.
